Peachy Blue Wedding at the Chalk River Legion

Peachy Blue Wedding Flower Pallete | re.Planted Flower Farm Blog

On a clear and bright July afternoon, Courtney exchanged vows with her beloved John.

This small wedding Ottawa Valley wedding was uniquely baseball-themed with shades of blue and orange being the dominant wedding pallet.

Courtney’s wedding was one of the first ones we booked for the 2023 season. I was excited to take 10 months of careful planning and finally execute her vision.

One of my favourite floral elements in this wedding were the light blue sweet peas, Honey Dijon roses, and perfectly peach ranunuclus; all custom cultivated on our urban farm just for this big day.

While technically out of season, I especially held tucked away hundreds of peach and orange coloured ranunulus, all June, for Courtney. Ranunuculus lend themselves well to this type of long storage method. They opened up spectacularly

Some other notable mentions were the sky blue delphinium, papery Icelandic Poppies and springs of cloud grass. These key floral ingredients brought the best out of Courney’s bridal bouquet.

Her palette was one of my favourite ones to date.

Courtney’s day was made bitter-sweet but the recent passing of her mother. Pinned to her bridal bouquet was a photo engraved pendant of her late mother, giving sentimental value to each photo.
